The New Sanctuary

Shirley and Sidney Kanofsky’s wedding in 1950 was the first wedding held in the new sanctuary.  Afterwards, weddings and Bar Mitzvahs were held in the sanctuary, whereas dinner parties and celebrations were held in the large space in the lower level.
